Today I thought I would do my parents a favour, it being my first day back home. I thought “hey it’ll sweeten them up a bit if I do some general tidying up”, well as I have said before the best laid plans…

I had taken some of dirty washing from the flat, home with me - honestly I am positive that my mum would be upset if I didn’t bring any home. So I put it on, about 1 and 1/2 hours into the washing cycle…

It is slowest washing machine on the planet, even though it has like a Pentium 4 Processor in it - Can you even say that without making that be-beep be-beep noise they have in all the adverts? Is that part of its trademark or copyright or something, anyway I digress again…

… it made this loud bang, then it was fine. I checked it and it wasn’t making any noise now, so I just left it, as I didn’t know what else to do. After I had just turned my back on it it started to misbehave, making this funny high pitched noise.

Smoke was pouring out of it, so I switched it off at the wall. The smoke was quite thick but I managed to get all of my clothes out and I only lost one top due to burn marks.

So all in all not a completely disasterous day, I’ve had worse

Hope you all have a good Easter weekend. Matt is coming down to stay, so I’m sure I’ll have a great weekend. Missing him so much already (it’s only been a day).
